Interesting. Is it pink? Maybe a algae or sponge getting it's start? How big is it?

Possibly labyrinthulaceae.

Kind of looks like a sponge.
About 3/8" to 1/2" long.
It is Cool looking.

I looked up labyrinthulaceae. It does Look just like that white mucus Webbie extending from the ends.
Which brought me to melevsreef.com it might be a Foramoniferian .
I'm assuming it's not a foe. If anybody knows anymore about it. I always enjoy learning these odd critters.
