What is it?

It can open and close, there is nothing else like this in my tank

Looks like a ball anemone.

It's a ball anemone, which isn't an anemone at all but a corallimorph (mushroom). They are reef safe.

pseudocorynactis ball mushroom, it will stay pretty small and wont spread like aptasia, they are nonphotosynthetic so it needs supplemental feeding.

Mine survive fine just filtering food from the water. I've never specifically fed them.

i guess ive just had different luck with them, always had to feed them or they would disappear.

Thanks for the replies, will it eat my starfish and seahorses as it says online? And if so, are they something someone could buy from a LFS if I took it in? I think there’s 3 of them.

No. The type in your photo stays very small.

These are not the same kind that you have.

If you prefer to remove them from your tank, you can certainly do so. I would bet someone in your area would take them
