This was first seen a month ago with light off. Today is second time I have seen it. It was doing what you see in the video. Any thought what it is and what it is doing?

Full fun apologies to the OP. I hope your tank is doing well while we're doing this.

Great video!! Its a Bi-valve which many refer to as a clam but is actually related to the scallop group and is a reef safe filter feeder and not long lived although ive had a couple make it a year

Ok this is the first time I have seen this out on my glass. Is this the same guy? what is it? It really looks like a slug and they way it moves pretty fast. When I went to take a photo it at first stopped and retracted, so it can see me.

Stomatella snail

Interesting, possibly a sea slug, I think it is too big for Stomatella @NoohpyT ?

I had something similar that came on some live rock from the South Pacific many years ago. It only came out at night and as far as I could tell it wasn't harming anything. I never Id'd it, but it lived a long time scavenging.

It could be a sea slug, but I've seen some HUGE stomatella snails, so that's my thought

We would have to see it under a flash light or something to see if it has a shell
