I have a carpet anemone that when fully inflated is about 12 inches across. It has stayed put for several months but starting Tuesday it decided to climb my overflow and seems to be trying to go down it. I had a frag tank (attached to display) flood while out of town and the temp of my tank got kind of low, about 67 degrees, because my heater is in my sump and it was bone dry along with my frag tank. After I got back and slowly warmed up the tank and the next day the anemone started moving and stopped here.

When I say slowly warmed it up, I started at 6 pm and at 2:30 AM I had it to 74 degrees.

Mine will occasionally shrivel up to what appears to be death. However after much observation I believe it's their way of expelling waste. Mine seems to do this about once a week at random times and otherwise is in flawless health.
