hey guys

my hammer is looking very good so far and is doing good for weeks.

What is it doing? Its kind of producing a bigger bubble in it??

This is what appears to be frogspawn and although pic fuzzy may be trying to expel zooxanthellae but unconfirmed

That is a frogspawn? I thought thats a hammer…

Heres a video:

Tbh. this frag is coming from a HUGE colony which was also teared apart in 4 or 5 big frags / colonies.

The guy gave it to me (for free) is keeping it under white lights.

wow thanks for the insight. Ive never heard of a frammer until now :) Is that some rare thingy or just normal?
that color variant is pretty common and frags of it can be found pretty cheap. I got one as my first euphyllia and it is still thriving in my tank.

I think they are more common than you think since both hammers and frogspawns occur naturally in the same space, so hybridization occurs. I got a few hammers from a local frag swap, but upon closer inspection they look more like frammers. They dont have as many "buds?" as frogs, but have extra buds near the little hammer polyp

A bubble forming over the mouth means its splitting heads.

This is a hammer (typical)
