What is my feather duster doing

Are feather dusters supposed to change colors non stop even with the light off?



White on left green tint on right

Green tint on left white on right

The green tint just keeps going round and round.

The worm itself isn't turning nothing is moving besides the green tint

Maybe just your light and the position of the worm when it comes out

I even turned the light off and used my phone light and it still does it I'm not really that worried but I just think it's weird

it must have something to do with the lighting? no other explanation? but ya, its weird

Don't know but can't feather dusters turn with in their tube. So the tint is on the left...goes in tube and turns now tint is on the right.

I thought of that and someone else thought of that but like I said it's not turning it's just the green tint that's moving everything else is staying the same. I've seen the worm turn and it's kinda cool watching everything spin but this is way better lol mInly because I can't figure it out

Missed you saying it's not turning. Was reading while sitting in the ER with my wife, ugh, all is well.
anyhow I am now quite intrigued. Do the possess florescent proteins as some coral do I wonder.

Maybe something they do every now and them depending on what the tank params are? Or maybe what it eats?
