Hello everyone,

Just started my second tank and I’ve had it up for about 3 months now. Still learning lots and lots of information in this hobby.

I just picked up a leather last week and it hasn’t been looking great. Anyone know what’s going on? Picture below

If its only been a week it may still need more time to acclimate. I have had many Toadstools over the years and more than most take weeks to properly and fully acclimate. If it was going to shed there would not be any polyp extension.

Your parameters look good and if there is adequate flow and light it may just need more time.

I am also curious, what other corals do you have in that tank? I don't want to rule out chemical warfare.

I've got Zoas, a mushroom, blastomusa, gsp, and a monti

Hard to tell under the heavy blues but it could be shedding. Mine will look bad for days up to weeks when they shed. Mine also close up when touched. Mine like medium to high flow and light.
Same here, mind actually stayed mostly closed for a couple months during shedding. And ditto on medium light and flow.
