My baby six line is being a weirdo. He is going eye level to my solon wrasse and swimming really close to him. He looks like he's trying to swim with him. Is this some kind of six line mating behavior? It is weird....

Now my solon wrasse is a little spooky! He is hiding in his cave right now, but he was swimming like normal and then rubbing and darting into the sand?? I just did a deep observation for ich, but I do not see anything on anyone. That's a new one for me, but I think sixlines are a bit ... off.
Mine will get into some corner or other of the tank, curve his body and roll slightly to the side - then suddenly _snap_ himself upright with a full-body quiver. He'll do this several times in rapid succession. I suspect it's a display, targeted at _somebody's_ lateral line, but don't know whose . . .

Hmmm, what should I do when he gets older? I have a pair of frostbite clowns in there. As babies sixlines serve as cleaners. So it may be offering it's services. As adults they are aggressive bullies that have a strong dislike toward other wrasses, peaceful fish, and new additions.
Observe and be ready to remove either the sixline or the victim at some point.Hmmm, what should I do when he gets older? I have a pair of frostbite clowns in there.
