I got this from living reef Orlando. It’s not a vendor I usually is but the frogspawn is beautiful and thriving however is this bad ? What is it? You can really see it when it retracts at night.

Images a little fuzzy but looks like either filaments or poriferan sponge

I’ll have to google that. Yes I don’t know it’s kinda fuzzy and reddish pink. It’s completely happy and opens up so big too. So whatever it doesn’t see to be bothering him. I’m cycling my new tank I didn’t want to just do a tank transfer from my 40 gallon breeder it’s currently in cause it’s only been up for 5 months so I didn’t want to kill everything. So I am going to move everything slowly over to my Fiji cube. I will probably dip everything on the way over. I have a lot of new rock in the tank I only put a few from this breeder it’s in to help get it started with some established bacteria. My lobo brain coral has a little bristle starfish under the drag but this looks fluffy and I hope it isn’t flat worms or nudibrabches

Is there a way to remove it without hurting the frog spawn. I just read up on sponge’s and it’s not good it can kill it. Also Nudibranch or a red flatworm could be if this is my 40 gallon breeder I am cycling my 57 Fiji now with used filter media it’s already showing nitrite so shouldn’t be to long. But I’d rather not bring it over until I can treat it.
