What is on my clownfish

There is a white smudge on the tail of my clownfish. What is this?

He is in a 20 gal QT with a Sailfin Tang. I have seen this mark on the tail of the Sailfin Tang before too. The Sailfin is spot free.

History: Both fish have been in cupramine for 30 days at 0.40 or greater copper level checked with Hanna checker. The clown then developed brooknyella and treated with metroplex and kanaplex.

As a second line of defense before going into the display tank, they are 1 week into chloroquine phosphate. I added 1.25 grams of CP into 20 gallons.

Not real common. It is a virus that can affect any fish.

I'm aware. Just haven't seen it on a clown. More commonly seen on butterflies and angels.
