What is on my foxface

So trying to figure out what this is on my foxface. Noticed it for the first time this morning. Last night was all fine. I know it likes to sleep on the sand so maybe sand stuck in its slime? The spots are definitely raised off the skin and in the video can see some is floating. Not showing any signs of distress and all the other fish are fine. Only coral in the tank is a GSP frag I added 2 weeks ago. I captured some of the free floating stuff it shed and kinda looks like sand? All the white spots had disappeared now and left behind little brown spots where the white spots were before and they are starting to fill back in yellow. Link to a video of it.

It kind of looks like sand to me but that’s a lot of sand…had this happen with my tang once and it was sand. If it’s possible to catch it with out stressing it too much I would try to and check it out.
Do you have a QT?

I do have a qt tank but it's not setup atm. Needs to be cleaned and filled. I was thinking about qt but will be a pain to catch in the 75g without stressing the heck out of it. Have a fish trap I ordered that should be here this week. As of now almost all it's yellow has returned.

So it is probably sand. Definitely hard to catch in a 75 so I wouldn’t stress it if you don’t need to. I’d just keep an eye on it and maybe set up that qt incase. Glad it’s color is coming back!
