Hi guys, I recently started a 29g saltwater tank. I got some live rocks yesterday and I noticed this little things that freaked me out lol. I have never seen live rocks (I know, who’s never seen live rocks before) but it looks like it opens and closes. I attached the picture. Please help me identify it.
Thank you!!!

I think the picture is too fuzzy to be sure it is a barnacle, duster or aiptasia. Aiptasia are little anemones that have a soft "stalk" The tentacles are very flexible like tubes filled with liquid. The barnacles and feather dusters have calcium "tubes" instead of stalks. There arms are more rigid. You can see better than us, unless you can get us a better pic. In any case aiptasia are not the end of the world. If it is one then you can nudge at it and it will go back into its hole. Then you can entomb it with some crazy glue gel. Or you can just take that rock out of the tank. If you use the aiptasia remedies, like Aiptasia-X you run the risk of just spreading it. There are predators that you can use too.

Hii, I will take another picture. I have been looking at different pictures and comparing lol and I can tell I have a couple feather dusters, but that ONE is stressing me out haha. I wish I could post the video I took.
