What is on my phantom clowns?

Can you please ID this for me.. @melypr1985 @Humblefish i need your help again. They are eating and not sick looking.. as far as gasping for air but both stay against the back wall in this 14 gallon biocube more than 50% of the day..

They look perfectly healthy. Clowns are natural hosters. It makes the comfortable. Mine host the upper left part of my tank and stay there more than half the time. The female will venture out more than the male and that's still not all that often. Most times, when they find a place that makes them feel relatively safe, they stay there.

My clowns started doing that when the female began laying eggs. I wish they would have chosen a more visible spot, but they didn't. Check to see if there are any eggs or if the female is fatter than usual. If they are a bonded pair, that might just be their spot.

My dumb perculas have hosted my overflow and will not leave that spot. I have tried a few things, but given up. Silly fish.

Look and sound from your description that they are healthy and all is good.

Oh! I thought those were natural markings!

Those almost look like bite marks, don't they?

Those look like normal markings on a designer clown to me.

I actually thought the spots were something on your glass. Do you have any euphyllia corals in your tank? I had a clown in the past that loved to hang out in my hammer coral and always had marks from getting stung.

You shouldn't!

I freak out every time I look at my Hippo Tang. He is always rubbing up against rocks and getting scrapes or picking up sand. Beautiful fish but he stresses me out! I'm always thinking I need to set my QT back up for him!

OH don't feel stupid at all!! It was just fresh in my mind because we have some at the store with spots just like that. Took me three tries to google the right ones.
