What is on my red Monti cap?

I noticed all the polyps retracted on my red Monti cap today but I also noticed these strange things growing near and/or on it. Anybody know what this is?

I’m thinking they look like hydroids ?

Possibly a vermetid or coral barnacle

Could also be a Spionid/Chaetopterid worm

I went full crazy and cut a piece of the frag off and glued it to another plug. I would rather not deal with any unwanted hitch hikers. Hopefully it will take off again .
