Looks like the torch was possibly pooping. Try blowing it away with a turkey baster. If it comes back, you might have some sort of bacteria/ disease

I don’t think it is pooped cause it killed one of the heads completely

I would remove head that is infected ASAP. Turkey baste gently other heads that have the goo on them.
Keep water parameters top notch.
The gapping mouth is unusual IMO.

Briwn jelly fir sure, Turn off your pumps and gently bag it underwater to remove to avoid it getting the dead/infected tissue everywhere.

Either frag off the effected head or seal it with epoxy /glue. Then perform a lugols bath before returning the remaining heads/colony to the tank.

Best of luck!

I dipped the coral in lougals solution sorry for the late reply and blasted with a turkey baster I would suggest if it survives add it to a separate tank so you don't infect other corals

After further thinking! I just bought a goni last month it died from the same looking stuff about two weeks ago! But thinking it was just algae i didn’t treat anything. So I’m thinking that’s how it got into the tank. I coral RX dipped it then placed it in a separate 10 gallon with nothing in it! Also did a half a cap of iodine. Cut the infected heads off as well!

I’m starting a water change bucket now and changing all filter socks

BJD for sure. They don't appear healthy at all -- what are your tank parameters? The only way I've ever beaten BJD was with Chloramphenicol bath overnight. You have to get it via RX however through a vet.

Update: he or she had 8 big beautiful heads and was my first coral. But we are down to two now and I’m hoping I can get it to survive just a little longer! But I’m gonna post pictures of his or hers life in memory of him or her! Just to help ease the death! :(

Sorry to hear about that, maybe try fragging the living heads off but wait for others advice. I fragged my dying torch (From bjd) and hoping it lives
