bubbles on the side of this fish can anybody recognize it

yeah its white looks like a little bubbles,,how can that be treatedand what will happen if its left untreated

Most people would quarantine or you can find ich medicine at a lfs I'm sure somebody who knows more will jump in or you could google treatments

On a side note , I had a fire fish with ich, good luck in catching it, I used traps and everything, no luck , he actually beat it and is still alive

I do appreciate all the advice and I appreciate the link to however when I got home from work this evening I found my arrow crab eating him oh well I guess I don't need to treat my tank for ich now

Set up a QT tank and treat the fish with copper, leave the tank fishless for 6-8 weeks , if not as soon as you put a fish in it will get it as well. Do NOT put copper in your main tank, it will kill all the inverts and good stuff

Ive been told by quite a few people that their tank has ich, but that they dont worry about it. They said that they use garlic and selcon on their food and it helps boost the fish's immune system to where they clear up of the ich and it doesnt effect them. Im not giving this as advice pretending to know what im talking about or anything, because really I dont. Just passing along what ive been told, thought it was interesting.

Ive also heard that copper is actually harmful to the fish, and will shorten their lifespan?

I heard that copper treatment will kill the life of rock and anything that will ever live on it,, I bought and its treatment at my local fish store call para shield by a company called sentry Mardel,,on the list of ingredients it doesn't have copper mostly different kinds of oils capsaicin oil, chitosan, d- lemonene, manuka oil, neem oil,,,has anybody ever heard of this I read a post about salt treatment,,,I guess I'm looking for an easy way out it looks like I'm going to have to tear this tank down what a shame,,I guess the saying is true reef fast your going to crash

I think the quarantine tank is the best way out,,,should I treat every fish that I purchased from now on for ich

Tanksman buy some brightwell garlic and selcon. Use both on the food and watch for improvements

Please don't listen to all these wife's-tales. Read Lee Birch's article, it addresses all of the bad advice that you're seeing in these posts.
