Here are some pics if anyone can tell me what is on this tang. My guess was brook or fungus. The fish behaves normally and eats very well

Not sure what I’m looking for, the white spots? The fins? The lip?

The left pectoral fin and the lip have this white-ish looking substance on them. It reminded me of early brook on a clown I dealt with awhile ago but I don't have much experience with brook

Unlikely to be Brook since the fin is involved...both look like could be bump marks. Can you take a look at the link below my name here and see what other background info you can supply?
Thanks,
Jay

Copper system (copperpower at around 2.1ppm) fish only (in the QT for a store in a separate tank plumbed before the big UV sterilizer distributes to the rest of the tanks). All fish are being feed 1 weeks worth of API general cure with focus and brine shrimp as part of routine when new fish arrive. He is fed brine shrimp, new life spectrum pellets, and sea lettuce and gracilaria. LED lighting. Currently in a 33 long, though the total water volume is near 800 gallons. Temperature is 76 or so. Salinity is a bit low at 1.016sg but is being raised. Nitrate is about 5ppm. Nitrite and ammonia 0. Phosphate and pH not known at the moment. The filter is just a protein skimmer and filter pads at the moment but will resume biopellets soon.

This is the only fish with the physical signs. The fish is alone in the tank right now.

If you would like I can catch the fish and get a better picture in a half gallon container (what we use to bag the fish in).

I wouldn’t put it through the extra stress of moving it just for a picture. I think these are just bumps from hitting something - leading edge of the pectoral fin, with the same side of the mouth...maybe I’m jumping to that conclusion, but I don’t see anything immediately treatable right now.

Ok thank you. I am curious if if was some sting from a condy anemone as there were two of those in the tank it was in previously. (Just 2 condy's and 3 domino damsels in the store tank it was in). It just seems like some off white substance on the fin which concerned me.

I suppose it could be a reaction to a Condylactis sting, but only freshly caught ones carry much of a punch.
