What is one fish that always makes you smile?

They seriously do stare right into your soul! I have a pair and wouldn’t have a tank without them. I think I got lucky because mine don’t go after any inverts, they actually let my cleaner shrimp clean them. I assume that is what you mean by reef safeness
My flame hawks have never messed with anything. Great fish. I have one arriving today. He will be going into a tank with a 4 year old pistol shrimp with a well carved out cave complex and a fire shrimp.

The only invert I moved in preparation was my pom pom crab. I am confident he won't get to my two big shrimp. I'll admit if I'm wrong also.

My Royal Gramma because he's such a drama queen. Aggressively defending his little hideaway by screaming at everyone that swims by, even if they are 10 times his size

My orchard dottyback cheeky, scoping out his new tank mate Mr crabby pants the emerald crab. They just make me laugh watching cheeky play peek-a-boo around the rock to ambush the emerald crab.. he's tried to nip at him, but the emerald goes all claws up like ya wanna go man!

So tempting to get a flame hawk after all these posts about them staring you down. Question about reef safeness, though...
They can be massive bullies but if you feed them well, they’ll leave coral alone.

is it new?
heard these can be tough to get eating
I don’t have one. That’s @Paul B

I would have one if I had better access to live food. It’s definitely a wish list fish!

I feel like we all that one particular fish that when we see it makes us smile. Maybe it is because it was our very first fish in our tank, or maybe it was a fish on the brink of death but pulled through and now is thriving. I am wondering what is the one fish that makes you smile when you see it? (can be one you own, have owned, or just any fish in general).
I have 4 that make me smile!!!

My blue tang, Bandit! Almost lost him twice. When I got him he was beat to heck, scars all over missing fins and bad color from his previous tank!

Scarlet, my maroon clown. She loves attention and is just the cutest clown ever!

My baby dwarf fuzzy, Nala. Always wanted a lion but everyone said no dont get one they are dangerous, hard to care for ect. She makes me smile cause I proved them all wrong and shes growing very well!

Squirt, my engineer goby. Got her when she was like a little squirt in the water, hence her name lol. She was one of two fish that survived my velvet outbreak that took all my fish, and she was just so tiny. Now shes a big Squirt as I call her lol.
