I've been messing around with making a super-sized (low-profile) auger-style automatic fish feeder.
The rotating drum kind cant handle a mix of food very well and The pond feeders just look weird on top of the tank.

So I use my feeder to feed a mix of 5 similarly sized pellets. How would yours be different? I am thinking Avast plank but I am curious what you mean by mix of food. Flakes?

I just looked at our one at work. It says original Prusa. Idk what the big ones are. They are too far away for me to go and walk and look at the name. Lol.

Have one. Resin printer. Usual resin not aquarium friendly.
Also got laser cutter already used that to cut a lid and a few other bits

I think most use filament printers for their tanks.
I am unsure of the resin prints safety but I haven't looked into them - I know there is a lengthy post-process of cleaning the part after printing though.
I know resin prints are really good with fine detail. Think miniature dragon painting crew.
filament printers are easier for the beginner and I think will do most everything you want for this hobby. Unless you have very specific reasons to go resin printer, I'd stick with filament to start.

The Creality Ender 3 is a great, easy printer with a huge installed base...

There are better out there and I didn't look around; If you're serious, we can chat more.

Thanks for this. Creality is one of the printers I have bookmarked. I just started reading up on resin and it looked to be a pain for post printing processing. I'm looking around my house still trying to figure out where I can put one. LOL

I was SO CLOSE to buying a Flashforge Adventurer 4 last fall. But I looked at the price and my lack of space for it and considered the cost of the flow eductor I wanted to print...and the value of domestic tranquility...so I bought the eductor.

I just purchased a 3D printer ( Ender 3 pro ) approx 6 days ago, not as complicated as I thought. A little bit of a learning curve ( not too bad )

I don't mean to kick a dead horse but I have found some filaments to be next to unprintable... did you try different filaments or kept trying just the one you had? I'll help you troubleshoot it if you want. I don't have an ender5 but if you want to try again, I can help out.
