what is teh spongy stuff

While I am asking questions anyone know what this stuff is ????
white or creamy spongy stuff I have it in two places? hoping its just stuff that was below sand level then when I moved things shifted?
I upgraded recently from a 55 to a 120

Looks to me like a normal sponge that you get from live rock and such things. It doesn't look dangerous or anything. It might keep growing but sometimes that stuff dies away easily. I wouldn't worry about it. Corals should have strong enough sting to keep it in check too.

Haha, I have the same sponge growing near my Kenya tree, just not touching it. Too bad it isn't a nicer color, but, whatever.

+1 just a normal sponge. Has your kenya tree attempted to take over your tank yet with it's offspring?
