Can you get a clearer picture? Right now it looks like lymph which is viral and there's not much you can do about it. It usually goes away on it own, but feeding high quality foods with vitamin supplements can help along with keeping the water in pristine condition.

That's the best I can do. Thank you

Valiant effort Mike! I would take the wait and see approach here. it looks like it could be lymph, so vitamins and extremely clean water are the way to go and it should go away on its own after a while. If it interferes with the fish's ability to eat then start to worry.

seems like he's worse I just fed him and he barely ate anything :-(

That does not look good. Have you added any new fish to the tank? Any other fish having issues? Looks bacterial at this point, what are the black spots on the ends? @Humblefish

^^This. Also, are these new clownfish or have you had them awhile?

One might consider Mycobacterium marinum. I have seen that type of nodule formation on clowns diagnosed with the disease.

Also do not get freaked out over the information you find upon researching the disease. Just be aware and take precautions.

I honestly would try the vitamin thing for now. Maroon clowns are incredibly tough. But do get your hands on some antibiotics just in case you need to treat & QT.

Below are a couple of articles about Mycobacterium marinum as mentioned by @Tahoe61. It is entirely possible, but since that particular disease has a wide range of symptoms (or sometimes none at all) I cannot confirm.

Anyone give me a suggestion to why my doser continues to get air in the lines. Should the tubing always be filled?? I'm running RO water now to test. I'm running a bubble magus and do not have experience with dosers. I Manuel dose alk, ca, mg currently.
I need help! Lol

Plus im brand new to r2r. Not to sure if I'm doing this right

My clowns had the same white dots. I've had them for about 18 months. Twice within this time frame have they shown white dots. I was worried and started feeding medicated food. Did this for 14 days and they were fine.

Hi and welcome to R2R! You'll want to start a thread in the "new to saltwater" section or the "equipment" section for this question so you get better and faster responses to your question. Just look at the top of those forums for a button that says "start a new thread" easy peasy! I dont know the answer otherwise I'd go ahead and answer it for you. :)

They probably have ich - different white dots than these- and your medicated food helped them develop a resistance to the ich enough to keep them from killing the fish. You will probably see it again. Be careful when you add new fish. Any species that is sensitive to ich will most likely get it if they dont already have it (like tangs). Good luck!
