what is the best lighting for a nano

hey all i have a 12 gallon nano with a 70 watt current hallide system the bulb is getting old but i cant stand this fixture anymore thier is really no choice in bulbs and the 14 k bulb that comes with it stinks i want to upgrade to 150 but will this be way to much lights for my zoos and paly what do u all sugest
