Fun fact: Bubble corals are related to Blastomussa. They share a family: Plerogyridae. This family was described in 2020 after genetic evidence showed 4 (ex-)euphylliid genera (Plerogyra, Physogyra Nemenzophyllia, Blastomussa) were in a distinct family nestled in the robust clade of Scleractinia, while the euphylliids were in the complex clade. The common trait of this family are the vescicles on the oral discs of the corals.

I did see that when looking for the species name of the pearl bubble. Which is exactly why I'm putting blasto merleti and nemenzophyllia against eachother

At first I thought the Pearl Bubble but then realised the one I love and want is the Pleogyra species.
