Hey all,
Just running a little low potassium even after a water change it no longer replenishes it all. What is the best potassium product out there that you recommend to dose into my reef tank?
Thanks

I recommend I herb/Now foods potassium chloride from Amazon.
Do you recommend using potassium for a long time basic or do you think we should be considered it? How do you test and what levels should we be achieving?

My tank never needed any, and there’s no inherent reason a tank should need it, but if demand from growing tissue is higher than additions from foods, then it can be needed.

While there are some kits available, ICP may be a better bet.

Thank you for the advice. I am just trying to figure out why we cannot keep SPS alive and thought this could be why. We have been in the saltwater fish world a long time...over 30 years with just fish, and about four years or so ago, we started with corals. I do know, Alk, Ca, Mg, NO2, NO3, Phos, and more but these are stable.
