Even the fish listed as reef safe can have reef/community problems, bullying, coral nipping, clam tasting, rock/frag flipping, issues with adding other fish, etc. I'm curious to see what kind of fish people consider to be the most reef safe fish, that they feel will never cause problems.

I'd probably say leopard or flasher wrasses seem to be good additions that I've never seen any accounts of causing issues.

So what fish do you think is the perfect model reef safe citizen?

Regal Tang - He doesn't pick on anything or anyone, no taste for corals, and even when picked on he just turns the other fin and swims away...

Cirrhilabrus and Paracheilinus wrasses, but I'm a bit biased on this subject. :D

Sailfin Tang
Regal Tang
Mimic Tang
Vlamingii Tang
Scopus Tang
Yellow Tang
Powder Blue Tang
Powder Brown Tang
Kole Tang

Never had or heard an issue with any of these in a reef:

Firefish
Shrimp Gobys
Royal Gramma
Anthias
