What is the best test kit for Nitrate?

My tank is 6 months old. I don't test for Nitrate but every now and then. My Nitrate test always test 0, after cycle. I use the red sea test kit. Is there a test kit that goes lower than the red sea kit? Red sea goes from 0-2 I think. I feed quite a lot. Running GFO and struggle to get my Phosphates below .o5.

I got a good results with Salifert. I was using API but wasn't accurate.

API test kit is fine. Pretty much anything over the 1st readable color is too much. Any below is fine. Also always read API test kits in sunlight and not inside. Usually if you read them inside it will look like it doesn't match any of the colors. Go outside and it will match one of them.

+1 for Salifert. I like how if its on the low side of the reading you can view it sideways and get more accuracy with simple math.

I hear the Nyos kit is pretty good. I'm using Red Sea's.

You do not want nitrate at 0. Your corals need it to grow.

While you don't want it at true 0 you do want it low. The 1st color bar of 5.0 is way more than your corals need.

The Red Sea Pro goes down to .25 ppm. And you can detect levels at about half that.

Salifert works well too.

For salifert anything above 10 is a guessing for me. Switched to nyos and i feel it gives an easier read to me. Yes i have high nitrates

Just dilute it in half with rodi, if you are still out dilute again.
