What is the current "IT" coral.

I'd say it's acropora. There's many "new" ones coming out like the rainbow splice and such. Us stick heads will always be stick heads, and we will continue to grow in size, lol.

Once you get bit by the acro bug...

I love the swaying motion of torches in my tank. I got the holy grail, tiger, gold and dragon soul torches. I am content with them. I also admire mushrooms, so far I got og bounce mushroom and jawbreaker. I'm good.

That coral that makes you pull your secret $100 bill tucked away in your wallet for a rainy day emergency expense. Ben Franklin rubbin' his eyes 'cuz he hasn't seen daylight in so long!

Honestly I have to say, it seems multiple are on the rise;
Mushrooms
Torches (although they’re currently up there)
Goniopora
Acropora (Although these are on an cline)
Gorgonians (I’ve seen an influx in them recently)
Leathers (Fiji Sarcophytons are hunted for currently)

So really, it’s likely we’ll just have an endless cycle. It’s like plants, there’s an endless cycle;
Once people stop buying one of them, they begin to decline and producers stop producing them. Then they become ‘rare’ and everyone wants them again and their prices rise much more making them more likely to be wanted as not everyone will be able to have one.

+1 to torches, and I fully admit to not helping. They were one of my first favorites when I got back into the hobby.

Another one I forgot is;
Cristata

The unknown Euphyllia that is often disguised as a short stubby torch! They are truly in as people don’t seem to know they’ve got one and instead think it’s a torch (E. glabrescens) when it is in fact E. cristata. These guys really began to rise when the Glabrescens’ began to rise, I’ve seen some rare morphs of E. glabrescens in these guys such as the Indo Gold and Tigers.

What do Tigger torches go for over there price wise?

400-500 here per head
It’s £1K over here… Idk if that’s per head however last time I saw a true tiger and not an *ugly* reverse tiger it was a Cristata which is supposedly rarer in the hobby.
