What is the difference between "Fluidized Bed Calcium Reactor" and a regular Calcium Reactor?

Deltec has a line of "Fluidized bed calicum reactor' (https://deltecdirectusa.com/collect...s/deltec-pf501-fluidized-bed-calcium-reactors) that appear to require a special media https://deltecdirectusa.com/products/deltec-aqua-crown-hycarb-special

Just curious - how are these different from the typical calcium reactor sold by other companies?

And would using proprietary media (e.g. TLF) on the deltec reactors work ?

Very good question I’d like to know the answer myself . Fluidized sand filter would pump the water from the bottom up setting the sand in constant motion so if you did the same with a calcium medium wouldn’t you be at risk of overdosing ??? How would you regulate it???

i have no idea there is also little info on the web about differences between the too... hopefully someone can chime in
