Got home about 2 hour ago to my dragon soul torch looking happy. Now I take a look at it and see this…. Please someone explain what could be possibly going on, it does not look good to me!

First time I saw some of my corals doing this I freaked out also! lol

It is NOT pooping. It is expelling zooxanthellae which means it's not happy with SOMETHING. This is a relatively common occurrence with unhappy euphyllia corals from sudden changes in light, water parameters etc.

Not so sure about that. Looks like poop to me. I direct feed my corals and RFAs, and they do this with regularity. If that were zooanthellae expulsion they would be colorless.

The only thing brown in a torch are zooanthellae. There is no gallbladder dumping brown bile into the small intestine as the poop goes by turning it brown. Euphyllia don't usually expell ALL their zooanthellae like an SPS that will just bleach out overnight. It's part of what makes them hardy/robust. It most likely is not going to die but it is responding to something. I've had probably 20 hammers/torches/frogspawn since 2006 and no happy one does that. If it pooped in that manner everybody's euphyllia would be routinely excreting big clumps of poop.
