I originally ammended this the other day when it happened for the 2nd day to a thread I started in the new to saltwater forum because I was fascinated with watching my PH changes, but here has not yet been a response on it.

I figured this is chemistry related regaurdless of if there is a biological function at play here, so i will try here.

4 days ago around midnight, these small fluctiations up and down in ph started. I am very curious as to what the mechanism might be.

Sump light kicks on and display kicks off at 10:30. I monitored electrical usage and there is no known change between 10:30 PM and 10:30 AM not just on the equarium equipment, but also that circuit in the house.

What might be at play here?

If you are talking about the tiny ripples between the 9th and the 11th, those might be a true temp effect (temp both alters actual pH of seawater and messes with pH measurement), but it might also be electrical interference from the heaters.
