What is the main testing equipment for a reef

Hi everyone, as some of you know I've been away from the hobby for around 20 years and technology has sure changed.

I have a Hannah calcium and dkh tester and I'm curious what you all would recommend as for additional Hannah checkers that will aid me to have asuccessful Reef parameters.

I'm somewhat color blind and enjoy using the Hana checkers so far but my main question is what other Checkers would you stress to add to my collection?

My wife was mentioning a phosphate or a phosphorus tester so that one I'm really unsure of as I can just go on to Google and it will just try and sell me whatever I'm researching, that's why I come to you pros and ask this question on my testing equipment.

My goal is to maintain calcium and alkalinity and magnesium. Anything else I should concern myself about?

And I'm sure this has been asked many times before but I'm just getting used to using r2r app on my phone. So I do apologize in advance

Hey fullinfusion, I love the Hanna checkers because they are really accurate, especially if you have multiple people testing in our case. I would definitely recommend getting the Nitrate High Range, Phosphate Low Range, and the Magnesium checkers they work really well and are some of the easiest to use.

Hanna alk, phosphate and nitrate checkers, use red sea pro test kits for the rest.

Thanks for the advice, I grabbed the Hanna HR Nitrate and the UL Phosphorus checkers.

The Phosphorus being in ppb vs ppm kinda had me trying to figure out how to convert it to phosphate ppm but a quick google search took me to the Hanna site where they had a pdf on the conversion table so I printed it off and dont need to calculate anything.
