What is these black dots everywhere??

Thinking maybe it’s serpent starfish poop as it’s only in places where I’ve seen him and it only started appearing once I got him. But there’s nothing online on what serpent starfish poop looks like so I’m not for sure.

Those do look like fecal pellets, but you aren't using pelleted carbon that could have gotten into the tank have you?

I do have carbon but it wasn’t carbon. Definitely some type of poo, it wasn’t hard but smushy.
