What is this above the water line?

Is this a worm, nematode, parasite, or simply poop or detritus? Seriously I’m not sure and I don’t want to move it until I have an answer from an expert. Or just not a newb like me lol!

Ha! Great I was assuming poop but I haven’t seen my snails deposit above the water line like that before. Tank is a little over 6 months and just want to be sure it’s not a pest.

Oh you mean my ninja escape artist snails that I have to look on the floor and in the base cabinet for daily? Lol yeah I have about 5 left from 10 and they seem to push their way through my glass top like they are capable of osmosis. So that makes sense. One was probably trying to escape today.
