What is this algae it's taking over and I need to stop it

Hey guys please help it's a grown short fuzzy algae. Sorry for the bad pic but what is it and how can I get rid of it?

Looks like a fungus to me. I used Fluconazole and it worked very well.

It looks like some grazer could do a good job here
Maybe try a sea urchin.

Even though your nutrients are "undetectable", there's enough in the water for this to grow pretty quickly it seems (the rate of production and consumption of nutrients is net zero, or your test kit may be out of whack).

I would suggest doing small water changes more frequently over the next few weeks and running some chemipure blue for a few hours every day. You don't want to shock your system, so be patient!
