My 28 gallon bow front reef tank has been running for approximately two months. The tank cycled extremely fast in about a week. Within the past couple days, I noticed this brown algae like stuff growing pretty rapidly at the bottom of my tank (as it is a barebottom on), as well as on the sides of the glass, rocks, skimmer, and even powerheads.
What exactly would this algae be? And how can I control it if it is not good for the tank?
