What is this and how do I keep it from taking over?

I had dipped and scrubbed some frags that came with this filamentous green algae on it but it's started growing back slowly. What kind of CUC is likely to eat this stuff and keep it in check? It seems too thick and stiff to be GHA and is also fairly dark green. This is in a 25 gallon all invert cube, so I won't be adding any fish.

Peroxide dip or tuxedo urchins and manual removal . You have to place the urchin directly on it as it comes up . Some will say vibrant or flux rx . My opinion will be to never use vibrant and only last resort for the flux rx . I always go with natural methods first .

Any crabs that would eat it? It's an acrylic tank so I'm hesitant to introduce an urchin, but if I see this spreading steadily I may need to bite the bullet

Not aware of any off hand as even if their was one that would eat it I could only think it would be hit or miss as they are opportunistic feeders and unless that was their only food source maybe . Pitho crabs might eat it but not sure . I’ve always used urchins

Thanks, so far it's just a handful of tufts. If I see it growing out I may just risk it with an urchin.
