What is this and should I remove it?

I was checking out my tank last night and I saw this what appears to be a black slug I'm assuming I quickly grabbed the flash light and took a picture then look up black sea slugs. I believe it's a scutus. Does anyone know if that's what it is and is it reef safe or should I remove it? Also I don't know where it came from I used dry rock and dip all of my corals. Thanks for the help

Thank you very much are they reef safe? Should I leave it in there?

Yep....reef safe....but they can get big. I'd leave it until if or when it's size becomes an issue
