What is this and will it kill my coral?

Can anyone please help me identify this anemone type thing growing on the side of my acan? It shrinks when a crab grazes it.

Looks like aiptasia.

Update incase anyone is wondering, while doing my weekly water change, I decided to pull the coral with its plug from the tank, pull the coral and plug apart, lightly graze the coral with the dull side of a box cutter, I managed to kill the aiptasia and killed the worms that infested the coral underneath. It was nasty but now the coral seems happy back in the tank

It's aptasia...lemon juice in a syringe with a tiny gauge nettle...inject that ****...he'll die right off

Hey thanks! I just right now pulled the coral out, took it off the plug, uncovered worms that were growing underneath it, scraped the aiptasia off with the dull side of a box cutter and now it is pest free!

Just out of curiousity,what kind worms was they or dont you know ?
Any pictures or description?

They looked like white worms, the pic I got below was off of Google. Might of been a Spirorbid worm. They're harmless filter feeders but I don't like them. The aiptasia is the bad one you don't want in your reef tank.

Yeah i got like at least 10 living in and on and around my lobo and probably few hundred of them in my tank ^_^

Yeah those white worms grow like crazy.
