I am fairly new to saltwater aquariums. Currently cycling my aquarium (my 2nd week) and I see these bubbles or eggs on top of my live rock and around the live rock? Not sure what they are? Are they harmful? Just saw them for the first time when I woke up.

Oxygen bubbles from some type of algae. You can just turn the lights off or (if there are fish in there), down in intensity
Thank you. I will cycle my tank without the light on to see if this goes away. I think I'm starting to get diatom bloom> I can see the algae on my live sand.

The diatom bloom is normal for new tanks so don't worry about that.

PS I like to recommend dr tim's waste away gels on new tanks once they are done with the initial cycle. This will help provide competition to algae early on and doesn't require you to dose anything.
