I just bought one over the weekend. It seems to be doing very well, but I noticed that polyps on one of the branches stop coming out. It definitely does like lots of low and light. I'm wondering if I have enough flow for this type of coral.

Hydnophora. I have one and cut it up and use it to kill other things lol very effective...natural method. I had a huge colony but now I just grow it on my wall for it to be out of reach of anything.

My small hydnophora was (I thought) far enough away from other coral but woke up today to see long sweepers completely surrounding a Bonsai acro. Guessing that acro won't make it.. will see... but I hadn't considered putting it on the back wall... maybe thats a safer place for it. Your pose is a couple years old - how is it doing on the back wall?

It did fine on the back wall, easy to frag and exchange with other reefers when the time was right. Ended up removing it and sticking acros back there but then had a crash so i am currently in the rebuild process.
