I paid about 75 for a small-medium piece about 4" I think
. But found the best way to get rid of it is to use paper towel. Pull off what you can s it is all dry and not slimy and try to rub off the rest with paper towel then make sure you get the white strings attached to the rock. It's a PITA but that's what I did. Rinse before putting back in tank.
