Hello, this came out of one of the live rocks I got a batch of zoa on.

Can anyone identify this for me please and assist with care of it. It has a buitiful biolumineccence in the night light. Also I cannot for the life of me get it to settle and attach to any rock. It seems as though it has attached itself to a small grain of sand or small rock. Any ideas on attaching.

Thanks in advance

Welcome to R2R! Unfortunately I don’t see a picture. Forgot to attach it maybe?

+1 very upset anemone. Best bet would be get rid of it before it dies

Ahhhh....I wouldn' kill it. I would place in an acclimation net/box with a little rubble in a shady part of the tank...if it turns to mush get rid of it....

Idk..looks pretty far gone in what appears to be a fairly new tank. You think there's a chance?

It' not mush and I can see tentacles...will take a ot of time and effort but I've had them come back from that state twice now....
