Ok so I have noticed some of this stuff in the corners of my tank, I don't know if it's bryopsis or red slime or dinos. Need opinions guys! I have a 250 w DE reefbrite with dual actinics. The actinics are old. I have a mp40 and 2 koralia 1400's for flow. I don't think it's a flow issue. I feed once a day. Help! And thanks!!

Looks to be cyano but hard to tell..: can you blow it off with a turkey baster?? If not I would lean towards cotton candy or red turf myself.... Regardless they all suck but cyano would be the best lol...

i have sum that looks like that but its green got two mp 40s on a 185 blow it away with a turkey baster but it comes bak over night dont have a cam so i can take pic but it looks similar but green any one know what i have?

Have you changed anything in your normal routine lately or had any livestock go missing? Also, I would change out those bulbs asap. They may not be the cause of the cyan but they probably contribute to it.

You canb also dose it with Stability according to the instructions on the bottle.

It is a product made by Seachem. It says it is for new tank syndrome, but my LFS told me to use it when I had cyno and diatoms and it worked great without harming any of the livestock!

hmm, thanks! I think I need to beef up my CUC, as it has dwindled to a few nassarius and a hermit and peppermint. I have new bulbs coming and I am changing some water too!

So I hope that will knock it out!! Any specific snails or crabs or anything I should get to eat the stuff??
