Bought a new 2nd hand aquarium - 5 gallon fully set up, rocks, corals. A couple of snails and starfish have made appearances. Looking to ID what’s in the attached picture.
Under blue light it has an orange coloring, looks blue in the picture with a flash. My Peppermint shrimp bumped into and it retracted very fast. It’s about 1/16” at the moment.

Thanks in advance

Pic very fuzzy to truly tell but could be a vermetid snail

I’ve tried numerous times to get a better pic - can’t get it in crisp focus. Another, somewhat better pic, or at least shows colors under white light. Looked up the snail - could be but not certain.

I have a video clip of it retracting so will upload that somewhere and set a link.

Looks like a half extended/ retracted feather duster/ tube worm in second picture but first picture looks like a claw and hard but unsure.

Can you see a white canlcerous tube and a little feather coming out the end ?

It hasn’t moved from the spot it’s in for days. I can’t tell if it’s attached to the rock or has itself embedded in a hole.

No calcareous tube that I can see, but it would need to be embedded in a hole in the rock.

Other possibility is hydroid or fanworm

Think video needed to see it and see it retract so others can help you
Uploading to YouTube then share link here works best for me.
Doesn't have to be long, like 15-20 seconds kind of thing

Video shows amphiPods which are related to copepods
