I was looking into my tank with a flash light and saw this on the back wall , at first though it was a Berghai Nudibrand but after a closer look and I capture it in a pill container, it has two long tentacles, two eyes and is attracted to light, seems kinda like a slug. Any ideas,

Friend. Stomatella snail, they are awesome.

OK great thanks he has been in time out for a whole 8 minutes time for him to go back in. Thanks for the link kasrift, I noticed them spawning years ago in my tank always reminded me of Star Ship Trooper with the bug would shot out the stuff, I did not know what hey were then or now. Thanks everyone

If you harassed these snails, they can drop off the hind portion of the foot and the rest of the snail craw away. The same as some lizard that drop their tail and escape.

Mine came in a variety cò color ands some are variegated. Paul’s tan to pitch black and all shade in between. Some shells are variegated light and dark color. Nice animals to have in a tank. They are active at night because the shell does not really protect them. A lot of the fishes love them for dinner.
