What is this critter..

It seems to eject web like structures and is even capable of pulling them back in..it was bothering my Torch until I moved it...Any ideas?

looks like a vermetid worm (small tube worm) . they they can get out of control and they throw out that sticky line to collect food from the water column. you will mostly see them throw that out when feeding. it can irritate corals

Vermetid. Mucus web can irritate corals. Break off with pliers or super glue opening.
