What is this fish???

Hello, I just bought a fish from petco that was sold to me as a sunrise dottyfish but is clearly not.... I think it is a dottyfish but I cannot for the life of me find a picture that looks like him! His face is a darker purple and his body has orange and ends in blue ... anyone know??

90% it's a flasher or fairy wrasse of some sort

I know I will sound like an butt, but why not find out what the fish is before buying it? What if it was a predator and should only be kept in predator tank? You got lucky that it was a fairy wrasse, but it could have gone the other way just as easy.

When I bought it, it was labeled as a sunrise dottyback with no image attached and that is what they checked it out as- I looked up capability in the store but didn’t look at any pictures, which is why i asked here when I got home and looked up pictures of the dottyback. He also was being put into a quarantine tank and is very easily returnable if needed

You will need a tank with a lid. Wrasses are very prone to jumping.
