What is this fish?

What kind of fish is this? Looks rather transparent with a black tip on the fin.

Looks to me like a Buenos Aires tetra which is freshwater
Other possibility is juvenile cardinal
 
@vetteguy53081, my thoughts too from what the 2nd picture looks like. I doubt it would survive that long in saltwater though. Thats why I was curious how it got there.
In a pet store they are jumpers. May have jumped into salt tank. As for survivor- they are from rio de Janero which is brackish water and would stand a chance to survive

It must have swam into my bucket when I was collecting coral rubble. There was a small school of these swimming around me. In SE Asia
 
That is a Glassfish, most likely Chanda ranga. They are a very common schooling fish found in fresh to full salt water from India to Indonesia. They are very popular in the freshwater aquarium trade.
 
I am pretty sure that is a threadfin cardinal. Very common and very cheap. I had many of them.
Some have that top fin like that but there are many variations. It's a salt water fish.

Of course I could be wrong and it's a tuna. :oops:
