What is this "flat" snail?

He's been in my tank for a couple of years. The shell is flat, like a fingernail.

Heads up they reproduce like CRAZY. went from 2-3 to several hundred in the span of a couple months. I feel they do their part in the tank but can be overwhelming when everywhere you look is a stoma
