What is this fuzz??

Ok may be hard to see. This fuzz is on every cerith snail’s shell and even my emerald crabs legs. I see a few spots on my rocks also. Need help here... seen many issues but never this one.

Pictures I’ve seen online make me think brown hair algae but I’m not certain.
